Welcoming ITF to Barcelona
A Message from Barcelona Chamber of Commerce President
Miguel Valls I Maseda
On behalf of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation, I want to express our support for the International Technology Forum 2007, which will be held in our city. The Casa Llotja de Mar, the headquarters of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce is the perfect and well-deserved venue for celebrating this unique event.
The Barcelona Chamber of Commerce has always promoted and supported initiatives encouraging companies and entrepreneurs to establish cooperation links and enhancing their development and economic growth.
We believe that the ITF 2007 will enable the different agents participating in the event to create networks and will be a magnificent platform to show the progress that is being made within the Information and Communication Technologies (ITC) and the Life Sciences sectors.
The Casa Llotja de Mar has historically been the framework for many types of commercial activities. With ITF 2007, Casa Llotja de Mar will become a market to exchange knowledge, experiences and projects where entrepreneurs and investors will have the opportunity to share their realities and discuss new opportunities.
With this purpose in mind, I am pleased to welcome all foreign speakers and attendees and I hope is that, during their stay in Barcelona, they will be able to benefit from this entrepreneurial and innovative environment that has continually defined our economic and business network.
We are confident that once again we will all succeed in making this meeting a high-quality event of great interest.
Sincerely
Miguel Valls I Maseda
President
Barcelona Chamber of Commerce

I
am very pleased to welcome everyone to this
year's Silicon Valley International Technology
Forum. I would like to take this opportunity
to acknowledge the achievements of Teksia and
its success in bringing the highly praised International
Technology Forum to Silicon Valley.
The International Technology Forum (ITF) serves
not only as a networking tool, but also as a
conduit through which information and skills
can be disseminated to professionals and companies
worldwide. Here in Silicon Valley, our community
benefits from new contacts and suppliers as
well as the fresh perspectives that ITF 2004
brings to the area. In exchange, the Valley
offers a large population of skilled high-tech
workers and proximity to a wide range of business
firms that provide a strong base for ITF's services.
This area continues to be a leader in innovation,
technology and science, and I commend the valuable
contributions of Teksia in bringing ITF 2004
to this vital industry in our state. As thriving
technological depositories and distribution
centers, Teksia serves thousands of professionals
and hundreds of businesses in their high-tech
marketing endeavors.
Once again, welcome to ITF 2004, and best wishes
on another successful event.
Sincerely,
Mike Honda
