Profile: Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, 2004.

Dr. Hamedi-Hagh joined the faculty at San Jose State University in 2005, where he has developed and directed the mm-wave radio frequency integrated circuits laboratory in the Electrical Engineering Department. His research interests include high frequency modeling of planar and 3-D device structures and design of RF and Mixed-Signal integrated circuits for wireless communication systems using CMOS and SiGe technologies. His speciality are design of linear and efficient power amplifiers, wideband low-noise amplifiers and novel transceivers.

Dr. Hamedi-Hagh has published numerous journal articles in the area of high speed electronics and naowire devices. He was the recipient of the best paper awards at the 2000 Canadian Micronet and the 2004 IEEE Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communication conferences. He holds one U.S. patent on wireless phase shifted transmitter architecture.
