Profile:	Kim Faura i Batlle, Appointed as General Manager of Telefonica in Catalonia (Spain) from July 2005. Graduate in Law by the University of Barcelona and Master in Economics and Business Administration (MBA) from IESE University. He started his professional career at Braun Espa?ola (Gillette Group), from where he moved to the company headquarters in Germany. Appointed as Vicepresident and CEO of Chupa Chups (USA), from where he moved to become VP Marketing and Sales for Marcilla (a company of the Sara Lee Corporation Group). He has had several management responsabilities at Pepsico/Snack Ventures in Europe until becoming General Manager at Tabacalera and later on at the Altadis- European Tobbaco Company. Starting in April 2001 he joined the management team at Telefonica, where he has been VP Marketing and Sales in Telef?nica de Espa?a, Corporate General Manager of Marketing and Contents for Telefonica S.A. and President CEO of Terra Lycos Networks. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Endemol, and is currently member of the Management Commitee of Telefonica Espana.
