Profile:	Dr Alexander Gonzalez has a BA in Economy from the Metropolitan Independent University and Masters and Ph.D. in Economy from the University of Pittsburg. He has extensive studies in International Commercial Negotiations, in Mexico, Switzerland, Geneva and Holland, as well as post graduate studies in Economy from the University of Colorado. He has worked extensively in the public sector holding diverse positions from 1978. In 1988 he initiated his diplomatic career as Economic Advisor. He advised in the Embassies of Mexico in Singapur, Canada and Israel. During this time he also held positions as Educative Chair in diverse Universities and Institutions. He has published several articles in commercial and bilateral relations, foreign investment and policy, entrepreneurs and incubators and development of companies of technological base with risk capital. In August 2003 he was appointed General Director of Technological Innovation in the Ministry of Economy for small and medium size companies.
